A Special Program Just for Teens
Turning the TIDE, in partnership with Family Planning Council, will soon begin facilitating and hosting discussion groups for pre-teens and teens, ages 10 to 19 years. These groups are designed as part of the Teen Pregnancy Prevention Initiative of West and Southwest Philadelphia. All youth participants will participate in a multi-session, age-appropriate discussion group that is based on an evidenced based curriculum recommended by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. The discussion groups are designed to equip adolescents with the knowledge, motivation and skills necessary to act safely and make responsible choices. Participation will be based on first-come, first-enrolled registration. Registration for this new program can be completed in person (at our office) or online through our Program Registration page.
